Kremenets Hills National Nature Park is located in western Ukraine within the Ternopil Oblast region, encompassing a distinctive landscape characterized by gentle limestone hills, deep ravines, and mixed forests. This region is part of the Podolian Upland and is notable for its karst topography with caves and unique rock formations. The park’s territory features transitional forest-steppe ecosystems that harbor a rich variety of flora and fauna, including several rare and endemic species. The area includes remnants of ancient tulip and oak groves, with over 600 plant species documented, and provides important habitat for mammals like roe deer, foxes, and a variety of birds including woodpeckers and owls.
